JCB Photography attended the BARC National Championship Race Meeting held at Croft Race Circuit on Saturday 27th April 2013. The event was organised by The British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) and Darlington & District Motor Club. Run over 2 days, though we only attended on the Saturday. The meeting included the following : DDMC Northern Sports and Saloon Championship, BARC Clubmans Championship, BSA Long Circuit Kart Championship, CNC Heads Sports Saloon Championship, ECAS 2CV Parts.com Championship, SAX MAX Championship and finally the MaX 5 Racing Championship.

Its wasn't quite the weather that had been forecast earlier in the week,at least it stayed dry but rather windy on the Sunday. Went to the Orchard Complex for the first time and got some good photos.

This weekend finally sees the start of the 2013 Harewood Speed Hillclimb. Which sees the postponed practice day (due to snow), taking part on the Saturday 13th April and the first meeting of the year on the Sunday. JCB Photography are planning on been there on both days.

Harewood Speed Hillclimb practice day has been cancelled. JCB Photography hope to be at to be at the Spring National at Harewood on 14th April.

This weekend sees the start of the 2013 motorsport calendar for JCB Photography. We will be at the Riponian Rally, run by Ripon Motorsport club and again sponsored by Procters luxury coach travel. Owned by Kevin Procter he of Rallycross fame and who is also taking part co-driven by Dave Bellerby also of Rallycross fame.

We attended the Roger Albert Clark Rally on Saturday 24th November 2012 at Duncombe Park. It was a foggy day which seemed to come and go, causing problems for 3 of the Ford Escort drivers which veered of the road at the bottom of a downhill section and through the fence and into the field, unable to gain access back though the fence, due to the drop they had to continue in the field and out through the gate at the other end, just before the bridge. This gave the spectators an extra bit of action!

JCB Photography attended the S.A. Gas Premier Rally in Sherwood Pines Forest run by the Dukeries Motorclub. With a frosty start to the day the sun did get out and it did stay dry. Photos of the event to follow.

Craft Fair at Burnby Hall in Pocklington {just outside York}is on Sunday 4th November from 10am until 3.30pm approx. JCB Photography will be there with a selection of greeting cards and gifts made with photographs taken at events we have attended.

Saturday 27th October 2012 is the last round of the British Rallycross Championship and Sunday 28th October 2012 is the Rallycross Grand Prix both to be held at Croft Motor Racing Circuit and we will be there on one of the days not sure which depending on the weather.

On Friday 28th and Saturday 29th September the Trackrod Rally Yorkshire took place in North Yorkshire. JCB Photography was at the night stage 1 in Dalby forest at the woodyard, on the Friday evening. On the Saturday afternoon at the quarry for stage 5. Featuring cars from Historic Cup, BRC Challenge, Clubman's Trophy (including some ex WRC cars).

Harewood Speed Hillclimb celebrated its Golden Jubilee with the Mike Wilson Memorial Meeting which took place on Sunday 23rd September 2012. It was foggy first thing but it looked as if it would be a nice day like the Saturday but as luck would have it this was not the case it rained yet again in the afternoon. This did not deter us and we stayed until the end taking lots of photos.

It is now the end of the season at Harewood until 2013. This does not mean our year in motorsport photography as finished as the following weekend it is the Yorkshire Rally which takes place in Dalby and Cropton Forest followed by Rallycross in the coming months.

Sunday 26th August saw the Summer Championship Meeting held at Harewood Speed Hillclimb. There was a nice mix of cars there along with motorcycles and motorcycle sidecars. The weather was mixed but we stayed until the end. I took nearly 1200 photos glad it is now digital rather than film with only 36 per roll !!!!

The Montague Burton Hillclimb Meeting was held at Harewood Speed Hillclimb on Sunday 5th August.
The day started off fine and for a change not blustery, at lunchtime we had the first of the rain with added thunder and lightening this didn't last long but it did cause problems with the electronic timing devices this did not stop the racing. At approximately 4pm the storm came again and the meeting was stopped due to the adverse weather conditions, we was soaked!!!

The July MSA British Hillclimb Championship was held on Sunday 8th July 2012 at Harewood Speed Hillclimb in Yorkshire. The winner of both the top twelve run off's was Scott Moran driving a Gould GR61X and set the fastest time of the day at 49.32 seconds.

The Rainworth Skoda Dukeries Rally was held on Saturday 9th June 2012 in and around Sherwood Forest. We attended the Sherwood Pines Special Stage 5 and 11 and saw lots of action. The weather was mixed but not too wet! Hugh Hunter and Andy Marchbank won the event driving the Ford Focus WRC 03.

The John Overend Memorial Stages Rally was held today at Melbourne Airfield, East Riding of Yorkshire & organised by North Humberside Motor Club. It was a dry and cloudy day but not cold. There was not too much dust like the Lookout Stages Rally held here in April.

May MSA Hillclimb Championship Meeting was held at Harewood Speed Hillclimb on Sunday 13th May 2012. It was a dry but very windy day.
Rounds 5 and 6 were both won by Scott Moran driving car number 1 Gould GR 61X

Sunday 13th May is around of the MSA British Hillclimb Championship to be held at Harewood Speed Hillclimb also in attendance is the Ferrari owners club. Lets just hope the weather is warmer and not as windy as the Spring National Meeting in April.

JCB Photography will be attending Selby Abbey Craft Fair on Monday 7th May between 10am and 4pm selling a selection of greeting cards, prints,keyrings and mousemats with the theme 4 men!

Sunday 15th April sees the start of the 2012 season for the Harewood Speed Hillclimb Championship. The Spring National Hillclimb is the 1st one of the season with an entry list of 100 + cars.
JCB Photography will be there to capture this opening round. We are also hoping to attend the following rounds:-

Jim Thomson Hillclimb on 3rd June
MSA British Championship on 8th July
Montague Burton Hillclimb on 5th August
Summer Championship Hillclimb on 26th August

2nd event of the 2012 season for JCB Photography is the Lookout stages Rally on Sunday 1st April taking place at Melbourne Airfield, East Riding of Yorkshire. The event is organised by the Trackrod Motorclub who are also responsible for Rally Yorkshire which takes place later in the year.

2012 season kicked off for JCB Photography with the Riponian Stages Rally. We attended College Moor stages 5 and 11 near Helmsley. The event was run by the Ripon Motor Sport Club in association with Procters Luxury Coach Travel.

JCB Photography is due to launch a new collection of Cards 4 Men at our local craft fair. This will be held at Melbourne village hall, East Riding of Yorkshire on Sunday 6th November 2011 from 10.30am to 3pm.
Mean while we will be attending the MSA British Rallycross Grand Prix at the Croft circuit capturing more action.

After the cancellation of round 7 of the Quaife MSA British Rallycross Championship at Mallory Park on 16th October, the season finale will be the British Rallycross Grand Prix at the Croft circuit on 6th November. JCB Photography hopes to be there for our final event for 2011 season.

This weekend sees the start of the Rally Yorkshire 2011 run by the Trackrod motorclub. Including the famous Dalby woodyard forest stage in North Yorkshire. Featuring cars from many classes including historic, clubman & ex WRC cars. JCB photography will be there taking lots of photos.

Harewood Speed Hillclimb Mike Wilson Meeting will take place on Sunday 18th September 2011 and JCB Photography will be there to take lots of photos as this is the last event of the season at Harewood. This does not mean our year in motorsport photography as finished as the following weekend it is the Yorkshire Rally which takes place in Dalby and Cropton Forest followed by Rallycross in the coming months.

Harewood Speed Hillclimb Summer Championship Meeting will take place on Sunday 28th August 2011 and JCB Photography will be there to take lots of photos.
We attended the MSA British Hillclimb held at Harewood on the 3rd July 2011 this was a successful event and the weather was brilliant sunny and very hot,{great for the suntan!!!}

After a successful meeting at the beginning of June for the Jim Thompson Trophy Meeting JCB Photography hopes to return to Harewood for the MSA British Championship Meeting due to take place on Sunday 3rd July 2011.
Hopefully the weather will be a little bit warmer than last time!

Harewood Speed Hillclimb Jim Thomson Trophy Meeting took place on Sunday 5th June 2011 and was attended by JCB Photography. The weather was bright and cloudy, very breezy with the odd sunny spell and rain shower. But despite this we were there for the full day’s hillclimb event. I took lots of photos, so if you don’t see your car in the gallery please ask.

We hope to be attending other Hillclimb events held at Harewood.

Returns to Blyton in Lincolnshire for Round 2 of the 2011 Quaife MSA British Rallycross Championship.
Following the success of the 1st night race in 2010 which also took place at Blyton, the night event is running for a 2nd year and takes place on Saturday 7th May 2011.
